Wa Central: MP gifts two basic schools GH¢15,500 to improve their infrastructure

The Member of Parliament for the Wa Central Constituency, Dr. Hassan Rashid Pelpuo, as part of contributing his quota geared towards improving teaching and learning in basic schools in the Wa Central constituency, donated a sum total of GH¢15,500 to two basic schools namely Limanyiri Model Primary B, and Kambali Islamic school.

Dr. Rashid Pelpuo supported the Parents Association of the Limanyiri Model Primary B with GH¢13,000 to complete the roofing of a classroom block under construction.

The support is to help boost the timely completion of the project to provide seren and conducive learning facility for the school children and as well as help improve teaching and learning.

In furtherance, the MP made a similar gesture at the Kambali Islamic School by aiding them with GH¢2,500 to facilitate the renovation of the school head teacher’s office.

This is aimed at improving the office space of the school’s management in order to ensure quality and efficient leadership and administrative guide that will translate into providing quality education.

The incumbent NDC Member of Parliament for the Wa Central Constituency, who doubles as the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for the 2024 general elections, is noted for his firm stance and consistent support in endeavors of this sort to propel the educational status in the constituency.

Dr. Rashid Pelpou whiles presenting the donation on September 18, 2024 in Wa, reaffirmed his commitment towards improving the delivery of quality education in the Wa Central Constituency.

He accented that, a well-resourced educational environment is prudent for the development and growth of the general society.

Meanwhile,  authorities, students and the community leaders of the beneficiary basic schools blithely expressed their gratitude to the Member of Parliament for the kind gesture and assured him of spending the funds on the intended adventures whose positive effect on the educational system cannot be over emphasised.

Dr. Hassan Rashid Pelpou as part of his intitiatives also donated 4 packets of zinc valued at GHS5,200 to Dograyiri community.
