It is time for the elephant to go back into the bush-Mahama
The Presidential aspirant of the largest opposition National Democratic Congress, H.E John Dramani Mahama has called on the Ghanaian citizens to consider sending back the elephant party back into opposition for the harm the Nana Addo Bawumia led NPP government caused the Ghanaian people.
“We are telling the NPP, we are telling Akufo-Addo, we are telling Bawumia enough is enough,it is time for the elephant to go back to the bush”-John Mahama.
He says the NDC has govern the country before stressing that any time the NDC is in power Ghana progresses with development but whenever the NPP takes the helm of affairs the development of the country is taken aback.
“Our country is in mess because in eight years the NPP administration of Akufo-Addo and Bawumia have brought this country down on to its knees and we need the NDC to come lift Ghana back on to its feet, we have done it before, NDC has govern this country before and anytime NDC is in power we see progress, we see development, we see employment”.
“Anytime the elephant comes to town, anytime the NPP comes to town we see reverse, retrogression, retraction, constriction and everything turns negative” he said.
He says the NDC government has always been truthful and honest to the Ghanaian people and would not promise what it cannot do unlike the NPP.
Gracing a mini rally at Kojokpere on October 12, 2024 as part of activities of his 3-day tour of the Upper West Region, John Dramani Mahama debunked claims that NDC and NPP are the same and stress that not all politicians are the same, some are truthful and honest while others are deceptive and liars.
“A lot people who have been disappointed the NPP run to say all politicians are the same, I beg to differ all politicians are not the same, some are honest and truthful and some are liars and dishonest, some will come and tell you want you want to hear just because they want to win political power, NDC is not like that, we won’t tell you what you want to hear, we will tell you the truth, we will not same what we can’t do when we know we are not going to do it” Mahama stressed.
He said the 2024 general elections is about the future of youth and hence urge the youth of Ghana to vote the NDC into power for a better future.
“This vote on 7th December is about the future of Ghana, it is about the future of the young people I see here”.
