I will not protect your legacy of corruption, mis governance, arrogance, ineptitude…Mahama replies Akufo-Addo
Former President H.E John Dramani Mahama has thrown a punch at President Akufo-Addo stating, he will not protect Akufo-Addo’s legacy of corruption, mis governance, arrogant amongst others.
Mr. Mahama was responding to President Akufo-Addo’s unpreparedness to cede power to the NDC 2024 Presidential candidate after the December polls.
President Akufo-Addo was urging Ghanaians who have attained 18 years and above to register and vote for Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia in the December polls stressing that “the registration has started, I urge all present yet to register to do so, your vote is your power”.
He continues “I can’t hand over to someone I defeated twice and is not happy with everything I do, he will destroy the work that I have done. Vote for Dr. Bawumia, I have worked with him for the past seven and half years, I have confidence in him, I know he can continue the good work”. 
In his social media post, the Former President took a subtle jab at the Presidents’ statement by indicating “Of course, I will not protect your ‘legacy’ of corruption, misgovernance, arrogance, ineptitude, bankrupt economy, increased unemployment, and pushing more of our people into the poverty bracket”.
